This course is a basic introduction to the critical issues raised by the
development of bioethics, medical technology and the health care system
as it exists in the United States. The use of case studies will enable
health care professionals and those in ministry to develop a methodology
to understand these issues. Recent church documents on bioethics and
medical ethics will also be studied.
