This course is designed to introduce students to the main texts, figures and spiritual themes emerging from Roman Catholic France between the 17th and 20th centuries. For two weeks during the semester students and instructor will meet on campus in a seminar format. The remaining weeks of the semester students will have reading assignments to which they will respond online asynchronously.
